Flights and other takeoffs: What you will see in Noida in 2024
The Akshardham-EPE section of the Delhi-Dehradun expressway will considerably reduce travel time. Additionally, Noida's second elevated road is on track for completion. Furthermore, residents of Noida can expect a boost in Ganga water supply. Over 6 lakh residents in 26 sectors will benefit from the project.
The Noida International Airport is scheduled for completion by October and could see its first flight this year. India’s first semi high-speed urban train, Namo Bharat, will reach Meerut from Ghaziabad. And the Akshardham-EPE section of the Delhi Dehradun expressway will sharply cut travel time. Noida’s second elevated road, meanwhile, is also on track for completion.
First Noida flight
The first commercial flight is set to take off from the Noida international airport in October. The runway and air traffic control tower are likely to be ready in a few weeks and the terminal building by May. NCR’s second airport is looking to begin operations with up to 65 flights daily.
